Meet Lionel – your mellow best friend with a golden heart. At 9 years old, Lionel is a Golden Retriever/Lab mix, 68lbs, who has already walked a long, lonely road. Found as a stray on the side of the highway—skinny, dehydrated, and confused—it was clear he had been neglected for some time. But now, Lionel is safe, loved, and thriving in rescue. His recent vet check and bloodwork gave him a clean bill of health, proving he’s ready to start his golden years with the comfort and care he’s always deserved. Lionel is a chill, low-maintenance kind of guy who enjoys slow strolls, long naps, and just being near his people. He’s great with other dogs, loves kids and all humans, and is housebroken, kennel trained, and rides well in the car. He would be the ideal companion for someone with a quiet lifestyle—especially if you work long hours and want a loyal friend waiting with a smile when you come home. Dinner, cuddles, and Netflix?
