Asiago

My story

Meet Asiago! Asiago was picked up by Humane Law Enforcement officers after being found eating garbage outdoors. Unfortunately, he wasn't claimed at the San Diego Humane Society during his stray hold, and they reached out to us for a safe exit. On June 4th, Asiago became a Frosted Face. He is estimated to be 7 years old, and he weighs 23 lbs. Asiago is so sweet, gentle, and understandably just a tad bit uncertain in another new environment. Asiago enjoyed hitting the trail on his first FFF group hike. He’s curious, quiet, and walks nicely on leash. After the hike, he joined volunteers and other adoptable Frosted Faces for breakfast at a restaurant, and Asiago was a total gentleman. He sat calmly, barely made a peep, and gently accepted a few bites of bacon. He rode in the car nicely once he got settled inside. On June 13th, Asiago was chosen to live in a Foster home. His foster family shared this great update after three weeks together: "Asiago gets better every day and is so much fun! He loves toys and people and dogs (if they don’t steal his hedgehog, any of his balls, Mr. Turkey, or of course, Mr. Ladybug). Asiago has accomplished so much in 3 weeks of fostering: * He walks like a gentleman on a leash! * No serious resource guarding with toys. He and our dog Sully play tug of war together. * He only lifts his lip to warn our 7 lb. senior dog away from his food. * He uses the doggie door to go potty. Asiago is perfect!"
