Meet Elsa Breed: Jindo Mix Age: 3 years Sex: Spayed Female Color: White Weight: 12.6 kg Height (shoulder): 47 cm Rescue Story: Elsa lived a lonely life, chained outside as a guard dog on a remote mountain farm. Her owner only visited every few days, feeding her leftover scraps. One day, stray dogs attacked her while she was tied up — and to make things worse, she was pregnant. A kind neighbor rescued her and helped her safely give birth in their storage shed. Sadly, all of her puppies were later given away as yard or guard dogs, and Elsa was about to be sent back outdoors alone — until she was rescued for good. Personality & Social Skills With People Elsa is incredibly affectionate. She greets both familiar and unfamiliar people with gentle body rubs and is always ready to be petted. She’ll sit quietly next to you, waiting for attention, and if you stop petting her, she’ll nudge you sweetly with her nose or paw asking for more. She’s especially gentle with children under 13 and listens well to them. She’s comfortable being picked up and will show you her belly once trust is built. With Other Dogs Elsa is friendly and playful with both familiar and new dogs, including younger or smaller ones. However, she can get a bit jealous if another dog tries to steal human attention — she may give a warning growl, but she doesn’t escalate into fights. She has a confident personality and doesn’t back down if provoked, so care is needed when introducing her to overly energetic or impolite dogs. With Cats Elsa does fine around cats. Energy & Behavior Elsa has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities but relaxes quietly once back indoors. She’s not destructive and usually naps after playtime. She loves walks and may pull a bit at first out of excitement, but she’s very responsive to her human — stopping or waiting when asked. She’s food-motivated and has a big appetite, which sometimes causes her to guard food from other dogs (though not from people). When treats are involved, she can get a bit pushy, but she eats calmly when food is served to multiple dogs at once. Elsa is kennel-trained, has no separation anxiety, and rarely barks — though she may alert you with a bark if she hears something outside. She also knows how to jump into and out of a car on her own. She is 100% outdoor potty trained. Elsa is a loving, loyal companion who’s been through a lot and is now ready to be a part of a warm, forever family.
