My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 14th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700 Meet Flip Phone – Your Favorite Throwback, Now in Dog Form!   At a glance, Flip Phone looks like a supersized Pug with a dash of mystery – clocking in at a solid 28 lbs of pure, snuggly, low-rider charm. But don’t be fooled by his chunky build and wrinkly grin— this 2 year old is as soft-hearted and loyal as they come, with a built-in ringtone that sounds suspiciously like gentle snores.   A Day in the Life of Flip Phone: Flip’s mornings start with a slow tail wag, a big stretch, and an even bigger belly rub. He enjoys taking in the early sunshine in the yard before breakfast, followed by a casual stroll to handle business. The rest of the day? He’s your emotional support shadow— lounging wherever you are, napping nearby, and gently reminding you it’s time for love (or snacks). He's an expert in relaxation and takes his afternoon snoozes seriously.   Dinner comes with another stroll, some enrichment (he lives for snuffle piles!), and then it’s lights out—preferably in his cozy crate or dog bed just outside your bedroom door, where he can keep an eye (and floppy ear) on you.   Flip's Features:   Velcro-mode enabled: Flip Phone follows you from room to room like you’re his favorite contact.   Goofproof: His leash-tugging antics, snoring naps, and treat-hunting skills will have you laughing daily.   Silent Operator: Not a barker, chewer, or destroyer.
