Sitka

My story

Meet Sitka, a 1 year old American Pit Bull mix, approximately weighing 50 pounds. Sitka, a young dog full of life and love. His days are spent playing with the other dogs, his tail always wagging with delight. Sitka`s friendly nature makes him a favorite among shelter staff, who are always greeted with enthusiastic licks and happy barks. He`s a sweet boy who loves nothing more than a good belly rub or a game of fetch. Despite his youthful energy, Sitka is also incredibly gentle and shows great affection towards everyone he meets. He`s a dog who will bring joy to any home. Sitka will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how he will do with cats.Sitka is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today!
