My story

We proudly introduce to you graceful Miss Ballerina. This polite little velcro cat loves being around people and coming in for a snuggle on the couch. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life, such as napping, chasing lasers, and watching out the window. As she diligently prances into her senior years, you won’t be surprised that she enjoys turning on the TV (well, having you turn it on for her) to settle in and watch her afternoon programming of bird shows. It’s important she get the latest hot goss! Ballerina loves playing hide and seek and has a graceful back leg stretch that inspired her name. Ballerina likes to take her time to build trust, an unbreakable bond, between her and her human. With love and patience, Ballerina has blossomed from a nervous cat into a sweet and gentle friend. She kindly requests that she be an only cat as other cats and dogs make her nervous, and honestly, she really should be the centerpiece anyway. She would also do best in a more quiet, slow-paced home and with older children–she is nearing retirement age after all! Ballerina thrives in an environment where she can be close to her human companions, and will give a sweet little meow if she feels left out.  Ballerina has really grown in foster, and finally feels comfortable letting loose and having some fun with the wand toy or laser. Once she’s done snuggling, she enjoys crawling up next to you for a little nap. In fact, her most favorite time to cuddle is in the mornings. She’ll sleep on your chest, keeping you warm in the hours before you wake up. –and you better wake up because this lady knows exactly when breakfast is, and she will let you know when you’re late. You’ll never regret waking up to feed her because once you’ve gained your trust, she’ll be your loyal companion furever.   Apply to adopt Ballerina today.
