My story

Mobley is a 1-year-old brown tabby & white domestic shorthair who came to us through the Ames Animal Shelter’s Third Chance program—and he`s more than ready for his next chapter. This medium-energy gentleman loves the finer things in life: relaxing with catnip, stretching out for belly rubs, lounging in a sunny spot while watching Bird TV, and nibbling on fresh cat grass. He’s a litterbox pro and would do great even with a first-time cat owner.Mobley has been friendly with men, women, and children, and he may enjoy the company of other cats as well. We’re still getting to know how he feels about dogs, so a slow introduction would be best if he’s joining a home with a canine sibling. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who appreciates cozy moments and quiet play, Mobley just might be the perfect match for you.
