My story

Hi there &#194&#150 I'm Buscemi (yep, like the actor &#194&#150 but way cuter, if I do say so myself)! I'm a 6-year-old Pointer/Lab mix with leading-man charm and a heart of gold. I was found hanging out near the Loves Gas Station off 549 in Rockwall County, hoping someone would scoop me up for my big break... and I ended up here at the shelter on 6/24/25. My old family never came, but I haven't lost hope&#194&#151because I know my forever family is out there! I'm the perfect mix of mature and fun&#194&#151I've outgrown the puppy chaos, but I still love to play and soak up attention. I'm great with other dogs (but let's do a meet and greet to be sure we're a match!), and I'm always ready for adventures, naps, or just hanging out with my humans. Loyal? Check. Affectionate? Check. Ridiculously good-looking? Double check. I'm neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on my rabies and booster vaccines. All that for just a $125 adoption fee! IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
