My story

Morticia is a 1 year old female Shepherd mix, who is a perfect mix of playful and loving. She gets in the most adorable poses whenever she is playing with a toy, whether it’s a sploot on her belly or a play bow pose with her tail jauntily wagging. And she isn’t picky when it comes to toys - anything from a plush squeaky toy to a brightly colored glove is fair game, and she knows how to make playtime extra entertaining with her goofy charm. Morticia is also a sweet lovable pup who has an endearing way of leaning in to you while getting petted, as if she’s trying to return the love she’s receiving. She also seems friendly with other dogs and currently shares her pen with a canine companion, getting along beautifully. Morticia has a fairly laid back play style, and is well-behaved when she is on a leash. This charming girl has so much going for her - all that she is missing is a loving home where she will be cherished by her family. And in return, Morticia will offer endless love, joy, and full gratitude. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
