My story

Hallow is a 5-year-old, 35-pound sweetheart who recently lost his beloved owner. Despite the big change, he’s settled into foster care with grace and is showing just how special he is.This leggy gentleman is housebroken, crate trained, and knows the basics like sit, stay, and paw. He’s polite in the home — no furniture-surfing or counter-cruising — and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s currently living peacefully with two smaller foster pups and is happy to share his space.Hallow adores his people and wants to be close, though he’s not pushy about it. When he gets excited, he can be a little mouthy — like a big puppy — so he`d do best in a home with older children who can understand Hallow means no harm; he`s just SO.EXCITED. He may bark a bit when people come and go — but it`s just his way of staying connected and making sure he’s part of the action. With consistency and a calm environment, this should continue to improve. As a Springer Spaniel, Hallow will need regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and mat-free — it’s a small tradeoff for such a handsome, silky companion! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who’s already well-mannered and eager to bond, Hallow is ready to meet you and begin his next chapter. If you’d like to take Hallow home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $300 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hallow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
