My story

Name: Reah Nickname: Ray-of-sunshine Reason for being at BCHS: My sister and I were rescued and brought here for a better future! Meet Reah – sunshine in dog form, with a heart bigger than her past. Reah came to us with her sister Priscilla as part of a cruelty case, having survived truly deplorable conditions. But even after all she’s been through, Reah greets the world with a tail wag and a gentle heart—proof that resilience can look like a soft smile and hopeful eyes. She’s still in her healing journey, working on gaining weight and letting her skin fully recover, but her spirit? That’s already glowing. Reah has a warm, affectionate personality and makes fast friends with everyone she meets. She’s good with other dogs and kind with kids, walks well on leash, and is on her way to being fully housebroken. (Cat test still pending—but we’ll keep you posted!) Reah is ready for a home that will treat her like the spoiled princess she was always meant to be—one with cozy beds, gentle hands, and a heart big enough to hold her past and her bright future.
