My story

Meet Fievel! Fievel arrived at City of Long Beach Animal Services as a stray in October 2024. During his time there, he became a volunteer favorite thanks to his sweet nature, friendly personality, and love for playgroups—he truly shined among his shelter friends! On July 2nd, we were honored to become part of Fievel’s journey by welcoming him as a Frosted Face. He is about 7 years old, weighs 62 lbs., and is such a hunk of love! Here's what we know about Fievel: * He's a lap dog! Fievel loves crawling onto your lap getting pet. * He is super gentle while taking treats. * Knows “sit” and is very motivated (by treats) to learn more! * Dog friendliness confirmed; Fievel is good with other dogs and especially enjoys seeing his two buddies from Long Beach Animal Services playgroup, Peter and Richard. They are also available for adoption! * Loves going for walks and on our weekly group hikes. Check out the video - he is pure joy! * He earned a rave review for being very well-behaved while going out to breakfast with volunteers and other dogs. * He keeps his kennel clean overnight and promptly goes potty when let out.
