My story

Benz is the total package, sweet, wiggly, and full of love! This handsome boy greets everyone with soft eyes, a wagging tail, and his signature wiggle butt. He walks beautifully on leash, checks in often for attention, and isn’t shy about gently hopping up to ask for more pets. Benz is social, affectionate, and always happy to make new friends. He’s loose and tolerant with handling and loves hanging out with people, whether it’s for a stroll or just some quality cuddle time. Benz is ready to leave shelter life behind and cruise into a home where he can know true love. Dipped head when leashing for easy leashing Leash skills: Walks on a loose leah, middle tail wagging, soft eyes and ears back. Checks in with the handler and gently jumps for attention. Moved between sniffing and looking around. Sociability: We hung out in the outdoor pen. Loose and wiggly, social and affiliative to the handler and to others he walked by. Low tail wags, soft eyes, ears back. Wiggle butt! Loose and tolerant for body handling, solicits more touch when the handler stops. Jumps for attention, gently placing paws up. Play: no interest in play or toys. Dog interaction: passed by a dog on leash while walking to the pen. He oriented his gaze and body towards the dog, middle tail not wagging, closed mouth, air scenting , stayed in motion walking to the pen.
