But give him patience, structure, and space to decompress, and he transforms into an affectionate, loyal companion who sits politely for treats and offers enthusiastic (sometimes clumsy!) kisses.Chevy is tolerant of baths, walks well after his initial excitement wears off, and ignores distractions like other dogs, people, and even squirrels.
