My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750   Meet the Fourth Puppies: Independence, Justice, and Liberty   9–10 Weeks Old | Tiny Terrier Mixes | Big Personalities in Small Packages       These three tiny patriots were rescued from a packed shelter where they’d been living in a cramped cat kennel. But even in tight quarters, their sweet spirits never dimmed— and since arriving at DPS, they’ve been melting hearts and stealing laps with their playful energy, cuddly nature, and tiny tails wagging non-stop.       They sleep soundly from 8 PM and are bouncing with joy by 7 AM— ready to greet the day (and you!) with endless enthusiasm. These pups love kids, take baths like champs (especially on warm days), and are wonderfully clean, polite eaters. They nibble throughout the day, nap often, and shower everyone they meet with affection.       Here’s a closer look at each star of the squad:       Independence (F)   The explorer, the boss, the go-getter— Independence is as bold as her name! With a confident strut and a boisterous spirit, she leads the puppy pack with charm and courage. She’s always the first to dive into playtime or scope out a new corner of the yard. She loves to cuddle, gives direct eye contact (followed by kisses!), and has an “I’ve got this” energy that’s both adorable and inspiring.       Justice (M)   Justice is the lover of the group— gentle, calm, and sweet as can be. He adores lap time, belly rubs, and just being near his people. When you pet him, he’ll stare into your eyes like you’re the center of his universe. He’s got a quirky side too: he’ll sneak away with treats to enjoy them in peace like the little gentleman he is. Justice is affectionate, soulful, and happiest by your side.       Liberty (F)   Liberty is a happy, bouncy lovebug who greets you like you’re her long-lost best friend— even if you’ve only been gone five minutes. She’s playful, smart, and so cuddly— she loves being carried in any way you’ll hold her (shoulder, arms, belly-up, you name it).
