My story

Meet Blackjack! This 1.5-year-old terrier mix is the perfect combo of smart, sweet, and a little shy in the most endearing way. Blackjack loves a good squeaky toy, a rope to tug, and a soft ball to chase, but sudden moves might send him scooting under the nearest desk (he’s still learning the world isn’t so scary!). He offers the gentlest eye contact and is super affectionate! Blackjack already knows a bunch of commands like sit, down, stay, leave it, drop it, and even fun tricks like paw and up! He’s great on leash, polite when taking treats and warms up quickly to new people. Ideal for a calm home with kids 14+, Blackjack is looking for someone patient and loving to help him blossom into the confident goofball he’s meant to be. Is that you?
