My story

~ I want to live with adults.~ I have not had much experience with cats or dogs but am willing to consider sharing my home with a feline friend~ I am a quiet and reserved kitty. I would prefer a peaceful home.~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.Meet Martin Can Buren, also known as Martin by those close to him. Martin came to CHS due to his owner falling on hard times, but has stolen the hearts of everyone who meets him. While he does take a bit of time to warm up to new people, Martin loves with his whole heart. Being a bit older, Martin likes to take things at a slow pace and would like a quiet and peaceful home for him and his favorite mouse toy. Martin is on the larger side, weighing in at 16.8lbs, but is on a special diet to help him trim down to a healthy weight.
