My story

Meet Charlie Charlie’s journey started in heartbreak—tied up and abandoned in the snow before being rescued from QACC. Now safe in his Binghamton foster home, this 1-year-old cutie is ready to turn the page and find his perfect match. With his freckled coat, mismatched eyes, and adorable shorty legs, Charlie’s as one-of-a-kind in personality as he is in looks. He’s great with other dogs, does well with cats, and would thrive in a home with kids 10+. That said, Charlie isn’t without his quirks. He can be protective of his belongings, so he’ll need an experienced adopter who can set clear, consistent boundaries and continue the training we’ve started. We may not know his past, but we’re committed to helping him shine in his future. If you’re patient, confident, and ready to give this survivor the guidance and love he deserves—we’d love to hear from you. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.  Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.  Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
