My story

Meet Rosemarie -A gentle soul with a heart full of hope.Rosemarie is a female lab mix, weighing around 50 pounds, and estimated to be around 1-2 years old. She was found wandering as a stray, and despite her difficult start, she`s slowly learning to trust and love again.When Rosemarie first arrived at the shelter, she was timid and overwhelmed, spending most of her time curled up in the safety of her kennel. But with patience and kindness from our volunteers, she’s started to come out of her shell—and it`s been a joy to witness. Each day, she grows braver, showing us more of her sweet personality.Rosemarie has a medium energy level and enjoys calm walks, gentle exploration, and quiet moments with her people. She would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her continue to build confidence. She`s proven to be gentle, well-mannered, and shows great potential with other dogs. As always, we require a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to ensure a good match.While her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown, we believe she’ll flourish in a patient, loving home that allows her to grow at her own pace.Rosemarie is part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome her into your home while she completes her veterinary care.
