My story

Please note: Rosemarie is currently in a foster home and not at the shelter. Meet Rosemarie -A gentle soul with a heart full of hope. Rosemarie is a female lab mix, weighing around 50 pounds, and estimated to be around 1-2 years old. She was found wandering as a stray, and her past is unknown. When Rosemarie first arrived at the shelter, she was timid and overwhelmed, spending most of her time curled up in the safety of her kennel. Rosemarie is currently in a foster home and needs an adult home to help build her confidence and trust with people.Rosemarie has a medium energy level and enjoys calm walks, gentle exploration, and quiet moments with her people. We would like an adult household for her, no kids please. She would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her continue to build confidence. She shows great potential with other dogs. As always, we require a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to ensure a good match.Rosemarie is part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome her into your home while she completes her veterinary care.
