My story

My foster writes: Smokey is the friendliest little lovebug you will ever meet. He loves chin scritches and he loves people. Smokey is a calm and mellow little sweetheart who was ready for cuddle time the instant his carrier was opened. He is so chatty and makes adorable little mews to tell you how happy he is to get pets. He hasn't gotten to hang out with the other household pets yet, but he has been calm and relaxed seeing them through the gate. This gentle, talkative little baby is looking for his forever home so he can snuggle you always.What my friends at ACC say about me:Smokey tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: Admittedly, Smokey can be a little clingy with those he loves. We've also heard that he's a smart and communicative young guy who loves windows, gentle playtime, and long naps. Smokey's dream-like notes don't necessarily correspond with the cat we see but it's not for lack of trying. Not entirely yet comfortable leaving his den, Smokey permits us to pet him but hasn't been particularly interested in treats and toys. We'll keep trying because we know there's a fantastic cat just waiting for his time to shine. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Age: 7yrs 1mths 1wks
