My story

Meet Arches, a black and white domestic shorthair with energy as boundless as a national park and style that belongs on a postcard. True to his name, he’s a natural wonder—striking poses like he’s carved from stone and zooming around like the desert wind. Whether he's perched in a sunbeam or mid-leap across the room, Arches is always ready for his next photo op. Like the landscapes he's named after, Arches reveals his beauty with time. He may start out a little reserved, quietly observing from a distance, but once he warms up, he’s full of life, play, and personality. If you’re patient and ready for adventure, Arches is the kind of companion who turns every day into a scenic route. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
