My story

Bentley ACCT-A-226345 is a 4-year-old male dog who was surrendered by his owner on 8/3 due to behavior. Behavior On 8/6 staff noted: “I took Bentley out for a walk. He was easy to leash and allowed me to pick him up and handle him. He enjoyed being outside. He saw another dog Juice, and sniffed through the fence. He walked behind and with Juice and had no issue being in the same space as him. He did not seem interested in interacting with him” On 8/4 staff noted: “I observed the dog outside with his owner, waiting to surrender. He was fixated, barking, lunging and snarling at every person and animal walking by.” On 8/3 staff noted: “Unable to check in due to behavior, dog was snapping and lunging at aca. I knelt down and he jumped towards me baring teeth and barking.” On 8/3 owner noted: “He has high energy. He is very mean and aggressive. He will not harm children, is fine with cats and does not like other dogs. Unable to chip due to behavior. Unable to check back teeth but front teeth are clean and white.
