My story

My adoption fee will be waived from August 18 - 24as part of the MUTT-CHKINS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Jasper is an artsy kind of guy with his own unique style. His ear style (or lack thereof- theyre everywhere) is on point, enhancing his gorgeous brown eyes, and he even has a few spatters of white that look like he painted them himself.This one-of-a-kind work of art will fall hard for you at first sight (we think the feeling will be mutual). He really hasnt met a stranger. Dont be surprised if he lays his head in your lap and rolls over to be painted like one of Leos French girls asking for a belly rub after a play session. We think that Jasper will grow into a great hiking buddy that will excel with positive reinforcement training so that he can learn all of the things that a pup needs to know to be a good canine citizen. Jasper is a well-traveled lad and is eager to find a nice home to settle into.Once you are pals, we are sure that he will be a devoted and loyal companion and might even paint your portrait. (Just kidding! He cant do that, but he is learning to sit!). Dont miss the opportunity to have a lifetime of fun with this little artist. Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Jasper. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
