My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.Orca tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.A volunteer writes: Not so long ago, Orca didn't have a place to go but like any industrious and creative kitty, he made one. Since the end result doesn't always reflect the careful thought process behind it, Orca's idea of running into someone's home and hiding under the bed is certainly a strategy, but didn't really work out as he'd hoped. Orca didn't want to move from his place and crossed his paws in hope that it would all work out and it kind of did. Eventually someone came and picked Orca up and brought him to us, but beautiful Orca seems wholly unprepared with what to make of this. When I went to say hello and welcome, Orca scurried against the back of his condo. He has some medical needs that could use some follow up care and is doing his best to make the most of things while he waits to meet you. Primary Color: White Weight: 7.25 Age: 7yrs 1mths 0wks
