My story

Mariah is a 4 year old female Pit mix, who is full of charm, love, and fun. She is a sweet friendly girl, and also a BIG snuggler! She walks like a dream on a leash, with a pure focus on whoever is holding it! During a recent Dog Day Out, Mariah showed that she is definitely not a backseat driver; she prefers the front seat for alllllll the cuddles, and even fell asleep on the volunteer’s chest during the ride back to the shelter. Plus she has a big heart patch behind her ear that absolutely proves her perfect sweetness. Mariah is all about belly rubs (she had a good floor roll while visiting Underground Books), and she enjoyed every bit of her pup cup & the people environment at Local Ties. She is curious about exploring and is FAR from shy … pets definitely stole her attention more than sniffing! Full of happy zoomies and energy, but also perfectly happy to curl up right next to you, Mariah is the perfect mix of active and lovable. This sweet girl would be so grateful for a loving home filled with people who cherish her, just as much as she will love them right back. Mariah’s silly spirit and wagging tail are contagious, she’s just waiting to be your new best friend! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
