My story

Introducing Bean! 💖 This adorable little nugget is an 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua mix, weighing 3.4 lbs. Bean loves to cuddle in her soft bed, on the couch, in her human’s bed and next to the fireplace on chilly days. She also loves belly rubs and chin scratches. She is a timid little one who easily startles and would do best in a calm home. She has a gentle demeanor and gets along well with adults and children. Due to Bean being so tiny and needing a quiet environment, a home with infants or small children is not advised. Bean is good with small female dogs and cats. It is unknown how she is with male dogs. Bean is generally potty trained but sometimes needs a little reminder. She is leash and crate trained and likes to sleep in her crate at night. She enjoys going for car rides and gazing out the window towards her destination. When Bean’s Guardians take her out, they carry her in their arms where she feels relaxed and will sometimes fall asleep. Bean is quite mellow. She doesn’t play fetch or with dog toys but she does like to forage for treats in a toy or hidden in a towel. Bean has been well cared for and is in good health. She does need to eat soft food as she has only 4 teeth. She loves a variety of canine food sauces containing small pieces of meat. Bean’s best canine friend passed away and she has been a little lost ever since, so another small dog in her new home would be wonderful.
