My story

Say hello to Jade, a beautiful black cat with a heart full of love and a playful spirit to match! At 3 years old, Jade is a fun, active, and affectionate girl who just needs a little time to show her true colors.She may be shy at first and look for a cozy hiding spot, but once she feels safe, Jade transforms into a confident, silly, and loving companion. She adores toys, gets the zoomies, and will happily climb, explore, and follow you around the house like your little shadow.Jade gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and respectful kids, and would thrive in a home with another feline friend to share her affection with. She`s got so much love to give and wants to be part of a family that can keep up with her playful energy.If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky girl who blossoms with a bit of patience, Jade might just be your perfect match.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
