My story

  For those seeking a faithful partner and loyal companion, unlike your ex, look no further Kona, is the one for you! Kona is thought to be between around 6 to 8 months old,  and is a tiny 25 pounds lab/possibly hound mix that is 100% cute!  Kona is a bit timid at first but warms up then will never want to leave her hooman's side. If you want someone that will always be excited to see you, which is way better than your last mistake....lol.   Kona is a playful, social girl who loves other dogs and enjoys being outside and hanging out with her people. When it’s time to relax, she can’t resist belly rubs, ear scratches, and lounging on the couch. New sights and sounds can frighten her, but with time and trust she’ll overcome her fears. Having never lived in a home before, as she came to as as a stray, Kona is still learning house life and potty training, but she’s making progress daily (proof that change is possible… unlike your ex).   Her favorite thing is hanging outside with her family, so a fenced yard will make her just as happy as you were when your ex finally left. For sleeping and when her foster family is away, she stays in her kennel to avoid the usual puppy trouble. Kona is ready to give her heart to someone special, unlike your ex, she knows how to love. They must all be trained with positive reward based training and all are all up to date with vaccinations, altered, microchipped, HeartWorm tested, and on preventatives. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
