My story

Pam, affectionately known around the shelter as Pamda Bear, is a lovely 7 year old tuxedo girl. Pam came to HART in June after her owner could no longer care for. The shelter is a new environment for Pam, and at first she wasn't sure how to handle all of the new things around her. However, lately she's started to open up and show how lovely and affectionate she really is. At heart, she is still a quiet shy girl though, and she would do best in a home without a lot of activity or loud noises.Pam enjoys gentle affection, being spoken to with loving words, and the company of people she knows. We're not sure how she does with dogs or children yet, but she seems to tolerate her feline roommates. Pam is also prone to over-grooming when stressed and could use some weight loss.
