My story

Lulu is a secret ninja, waiting in the shadows for her time to strike. She arrived in Maine from Florida with her three sisters, who she loves to have a cuddle puddle with. Lulu also wrestles and chases them with abandon. Initially, she is wary of people, but she responded well to bribery like Churu and treats. In just a few days, she warmed up to new people. She is completely litter box trained but is an enthusiastic digger, so an enclosed litter box is recommended. She likes to watch humans’ computer screens and bat at the moving cursor. Because she is such a shy cuddler, she would probably do best in a home with other young, confident cats that can be good role models for her. She really likes warm spots like a heated pet bed and also enjoys chewing on springs. She is a busy lady! HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
