My story

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING FOR ANOTHER RESCUE GROUP. TO MEET THIS DOG, CONTACT fciaadoptions@yahoo.com or call (619) 466-9137. Penny is a lovely 46-pound, 18-month-old Cattle Dog mix. DNA revealed that she is mostly Cattle Dog and Lab along with a variety of other breeds. Spayed and current on all vaccinations, she is good on a leash, affectionate, athletic, friendly, and smart. Penny came to us with a birth defect where her eye was too far up into the socket. After consultation with the Eye Clinic, it was recommended that her eye should be removed, and she is making a good recovery. She will need help with house-training with her new family. Penny is a very loving dog and gets along with people and other dogs, but she does not do well with cats. FCIA dogs cannot be adopted out of state.
