My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Onyx, a 14 week old kitten with a knack for adventure, found herself at DPS Rescue after a magical whirlwind whisked her away from a secret garden where animals talked and flowers sang. This fearless, sweet, and goofy cat charmed all the mystical creatures with her heartwarming purrs. One day, while playing hide and seek, a gust of enchanted wind carried her to our safehouse. Now, Onyx is ready to bring her delightful antics and boundless courage to a loving home where her magical spirit can truly shine. She us currently living with two resident cats in her foster home, so she could easily join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog. Her charming personality is a joy to be around. She's a bundle of fun, ready to bring laughter and love to her forever home. Her foster mom also reports she is very clever and smart and could be easily trained to do tricks or play fetch.
