My story

Meet Ty-Ty!An 18.87-pound brown and black tabby with a gentle heart and a thoughtful, steady presence. Ty-Ty thrives with slow, patient introductions and a calm environment where he can take his time to feel safe. Once he settles in, his sweet and affectionate side begins to shine, revealing a cat who appreciates soft voices, quiet companionship, and predictable routines.Ty-Ty is bonded with his companion, Sweets, a 12.1-pound brown, black, and white cat. These two share a close connection and rely on each other for comfort and confidence, so they will need to be adopted together. Sweets helps bring Ty-Ty out of his shell, and Ty-Ty provides reassurance in return- their bond is both loving and mutually supportive.As a pair, Ty-Ty and Sweets will make a wonderful addition to a patient, understanding home that can honor their pace and give them the space they need to adjust. With time and love, they’ll reward their adopters with a deep, trusting companionship.These two are a bonded pair who can’t imagine life without each other, so they’ll need to be adopted together. To help make that happen, only one adoption fee applies!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
