My story

My name is Cooper and I am a handsome 46 pound medium sized 3-year-old male Border Collie mix with soft fluffy chocolate and white fur, a thick curly tail, and stunning orange eyes. I enjoy life every day, I`m curious, and meet people with joy. I am playful, loving, fun, happy, gentle, friendly, intelligent and a pleasure to be around. I take treats very softly, know `sit and down`, and walk beside my human. I walk pretty well on a leash and enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy being brushed and hanging out.I was surrendered to the shelter, and I`m feeling lonely here. I am timid, can be shy at first, food motivated, and alert. I love my volunteers as they make me feel happy and safe. Everyone can tell that I have been attached to people by how much I want to be by your side to be loved. I enjoy spending time with people, whether that means a nice walk, playtime, or simply relaxing by your side. I want to thrive in a home once again. I need to be the only animal in your home as I can be dog reactive and this way I can have all your attention to myself. In return you will find me to be a loyal, happy and obedient canine buddy. I am neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and house broken.
