My story

A fan of That 70's Show? You want to learn about our Kelso, Jackie and Donna Litter then. Kelso came to us with his 2 siblings after being transferred from a Kentucky shelter through one of our rescue partners. They made their way to Chicago to become Chicago Rescue Authority babies and we are looking for the families that will make them Alumni versus In Care. Is that you? Let me tell you a little bit about Kelso as his foster mom calls him Quesito to see if he could fit the hole you're looking to fill with a loving puppy. - He is working on potty training. Since he is just about 16 weeks old this is something that is still in progress. He is grasping the concept and going out every 3-4 hours. He has utilized pee pads and outside time. - Crate training has continued to make improvement. He does best when crated in another room so he doesn't feel like he is missing out on anything and can fully relax. - Leash training? He still needs some work as he is definitely that awkward guy who walks in all directions. He does better with a friend to follow but it isn't a need, he just needs some extra help. However, he is not scared of the leash and can be bribed with treats. Can't we all? - He loves to be around his people. However, has also gained independence and is just enjoying being a part of someones day. - He is dog friendly AND has learned to respect the boundaries of his foster siblings. He enjoys some place time but isn't overly energetic either, just purely puppy energy like one would expect. Want to learn more about him? Interested in being considered his forever home? Apply here. He is being fostered in the Chicagoland area and is currently available in or within a 3 hour radius.
