My story

Hello there. My name is Minnie. Yes, that Minnie. The small, soft, slightly bashful one sitting politely a few steps behind the spotlight. Don’t worry, I’ll come closer… I just like to make a graceful entrance. I’m about a year old, which means I’ve reached that delightful stage in life where I’m equal parts playful kitten and sweet, snuggly companion. Think of me as a tiny cloud with whiskers and excellent listening skills. I’ll be honest with you… I can be a little shy when we first meet. New places and new people make me pause for a moment while I assess the situation like a very responsible feline investigator. But once I realize you are kind (and possibly in possession of treats or gentle chin scratches), my sweet side comes shining through. And oh, the sweetness! I enjoy soft pets, quiet company, and cozy places where I can curl up like a cinnamon roll with ears. The other cats here? We get along just fine. I’m a polite roommate and understand the important social rules of cat society: share the sunbeams, respect nap time, and mind your whiskers. What I’d really love is a calm, loving home where I can blossom at my own pace. Give me a little patience and a lot of love, and I promise you’ll discover what my friends already know… I’m a very special girl. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. The adoption fee is $35 and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies if not already done.
