Dixie

My story

We got Dixie or my son when he was going through depression. We have had her since she was eight weeks old. My son has been living with us with mental conditions and recently went to prison. I have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis, and cannot care for her. She is very sweet! She does have seasonal allergies so she needs Apoquel when pollen comes around. She's potty trained and calm. This is a very difficult decision that I am having to make, but I feel terrible for her always having her in a cage. She loves stuffed animals and was used to sleeping in my son‘s bed. But I cannot let her get in my bed because of my health conditions and pain I have all over my body. Her name is Dixie. I need to find her a home as soon as possible. She is 7-8 years old I cannot remember.
