Sabi

My story

Hi, I'm looking for a home, even a temporary one, for Sabi. She is at risk of becoming an outdoor feral cat. Sabi was my Mother's cat. My mom has Alzheimer's and has entered into memory care where she can no longer care for Sabi. Sabi is a scaredy cat at heart. She does not warm up easily to strangers and prefers to run away. She has never scratched or bit any person. She prefers to keep her distance from people but will get closer once she warms up to you. She got along well with my mom's other cat before he passed, so I'd say she's good with other cats. I'm not sure about dogs or other pets that aren't cats. Sabi was likely born in 2017 or 2018 as my mom first got her in 2018. I don't know where my mom got Sabi. She is spayed and vaccinated, and likely microchipped but I'm unable to check. She is litterbox trained. Sabi managed to get outside when my mom was transitioning to memory care. I was able to get her back inside, but Sabi did survive on her own outside for a few weeks.
