My story

I am a police officer who rescued the dog after responding to a call. She was lost and alone at the time. I chose to adopt her because my child is autistic, and I believed she could be a wonderful companion for him. Unfortunately, our circumstances have recently changed. My mother, who lives with us, underwent unexpected heart surgery this week and now requires significant follow-up care and rehabilitation. In addition, my work schedule has become extremely demanding, leaving me with very little time to properly care for this beautiful dog. She has already received vaccinations, a full exam, and grooming this week. I will also provide her belongings, Hartford City voucher of $200 for next vaccination and food to help with the transition. Thank you.
