My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for walk in visitors 10am-5pm 7 days a week. NO Appointments needed. Hello, my name is Cookie, and I'm ready to find the forever home I've been dreaming of. I've had quite a journey so far. I was a mama not once, but twice, and I worked very hard raising my babies into wonderful cats. Now that all of my kittens have grown up, it's finally my turn to be someone's baby. I'm an independent lady who knows what I like. I enjoy gentle pets and attention, but I prefer them in moderation. Being picked up and held isn't really my thing, but I'll happily show my affection by rubbing against your legs and keeping you company throughout the day. One of my favorite ways to spend time is lounging in a sunny cat tree while watching the world go by through the window. When I'm ready for a nap, you'll usually find me curled up in a cozy cave bed. I also have a playful side—jingle balls and feather toys are some of my absolute favorites! I've been returned twice through no fault of my own, which has been confusing for me. Even so, I haven't given up hope that my perfect family is still out there. I get along just fine with other cats and don't mind sharing my home with a small, cat-friendly dog. What I'm looking for is someone who understands that love comes in many forms. I may not be a lap cat, but I have a sweet heart, a gentle spirit, and so much companionship to offer. All I need is a patient family willing to love me for exactly who I am.
