My story

Cream Corn is a handsome cream-colored gentleman with a laid-back attitude and a heart full of love — on his own terms, of course! This sweet boy is front paw declawed, so he’s not a fan of having his feet touched, but he more than makes up for it with his expert biscuit-making skills on his cozy bed. Cream Corn is an independent spirit who likes to do his own thing and give love when he feels like it — and when he does, it’s worth the wait! He’s looking for a peaceful home where he can be the one and only pet, soaking up all the attention at his own comfortable pace. If you're ready for a mellow, affectionate companion who knows what he likes, Cream Corn is ready to bring a little cozy comfort into your life. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
