Dog Name: Libra Breed: Mixed Sex: Female Age: 6 months (DOB 1/14/25) Weight: 25 lbs Medical Needs: Spay scheduled for August 7th. Because the spay is still pending, foster to adopt families must live within an hour of one of the locations listed above, and must be willing to travel there for the appointment. A required $75 check must be submitted by adopter, which Grass Roots Rescue will hold and then destroy once spay is verified. Housebroken: 95% Crate trained: Yes but does not like to be alone (does well with other dog in the room) Good in the car: Yes Good on a leash: Getting there! Energy level: Puppy zoomies for a little but loves to chill + snuggle! Need a fenced in yard: No Dog Friendly: Yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? Yes Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age with proper supervision. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Libra is a very sweet and snuggly girl who may come off a little shy at first, but then she is all puppy love! She comes from a large litter (11!) and is adjusting well to being away from her siblings. We are giving a general estimation of Medium for their adult size. Their mama (Cleo, 50lbs) is an absolute sweetheart and has a very good temperament.
