My story

Meet Powell! Powell entered Los Angeles Animal Care and Control's Lancaster Shelter as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on April 13th. Powell is estimated to be 15 years old, and he weighs just 8 lbs. Powell is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, giving us a great chance to learn more about him while he enjoys the comforts of a home environment. Powell's Fling Mom shared this update: "Powell loves people! He does so well in public and when receiving attention. He loves when people pet him. He has never barked or growled. He’s just a sweetheart! Powell has been with me for an over a week now. He’s in LOVE with my heating blanket. He burrows himself in it everyday, and I keep it on the lowest heating setting for him. We’re still trying to figure out his favorite foods. He LOVED dog friendly ice cream as a treat." Stay tuned for the full report on Powell's Fling!
