My story

My foster writes:Yellow is a calm, affectionate, and well-behaved boy who's ready to bring love and companionship to his forever home. He's fully crate-trained, housebroken, and knows all his basic commands-sit, stay, paw, and come-making him a great match for first-time dog owners or anyone looking for an easygoing companion.Yellow walks beautifully on leash, rarely pulls, and gets along wonderfully with strangers, he even rolls over for belly rubs during walks! He enjoys long naps, playtime (especially when he gets the zoomies at night), and always settles in quietly when it's time to rest. He's not reactive around other dogs or small animals and only barks occasionally (usually when he wants a bite of your snack!).Yellow would thrive in a loving home that can give him daily walks, a cozy bed, and some belly rubs in between. He's the kind of dog who makes your life easier and your heart fuller.What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
