My story

Meet Cessna! This 1-year-old black Labrador is ready to fly into your heart! Cessna is playful, energetic, and always on the go—just like her name suggests! She loves to run, romp, and explore the world with her tail wagging at full speed. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long walk, or just zoomies in the backyard, Cessna is happiest when she’s moving. She’s spayed, medically up-to-date, and ready for her next big adventure. Cessna would thrive in an active home with people who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit and give her plenty of exercise and playtime. Cessna doesn't seem to mind cats, but remember that she is an energetic dog, and may be too much for chill cats. If you’re looking for a smart, lively, and loyal companion who’s always up for action, Cessna could be your perfect co-pilot! Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
