My story

Totinos is the kind of cat who could easily be mistaken for a shadow—quiet, still, and always watching. He’s not the type to come crashing through your living room like a banshee. Instead, he prefers to perch in the background like a proper haunted house resident, taking everything in with calm curiosity. He’s chill to the bone, unfazed by creaky floors or the occasional ghostly gust of wind. Despite his spooky aesthetic, Totinos is a sweetheart at heart. He gets along well with other cats and doesn’t mind the company of respectful, cat-savvy kids. He’s not looking to be the center of attention—he’d much rather be your quiet companion on a stormy night, curled up close while the wind howls outside. A little eerie, a little endearing—Totinos is the perfect cat to share your crypt with. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
